GWR CLASS 14XX NO.1466

Designed by the Great Weston Railway as a light weight branch line passenger work locomotive. 

Introduced in 1932, it was originally classified as a 4800 Class until 1946 when it was renumbered and commonly know as 1400 class.

Full scale built at Swindon Works. A personal favourite and popular locomotive for ride-on scale steam engines.
